Stanage Dental is a large multi-disciplinary practice that has been operating since 1991. We believe in providing the highest levels of care for all our patients, and do so both within the NHS and privately. We aim to provide the level of care we would expect to receive ourselves.
All our dentists will provide you with a comprehensive treatment plan when you visit, and the costs involved; it is totally up to you which way you choose to have your treatment completed, but we have an obligation to offer both NHS and Private options to all patients; these options are always discussed at length and patients are free to choose whichever is most appropriate to them.
We are keen on preventing dental problems in the future; we provide thorough examinations of all aspects of your mouth, such as oral cancer screening, gum disease, dietary advice and smoking cessation advice.
We have been awarded membership of the British Dental Association Good Practice Scheme for several years, which means we choose to deliver care to the highest standards expected within the profession, and have also been recognised as an ‘Investor in People’ practice.
All our surgeries are equipped with up to date facilities to comply with the highest standards of cleanliness for your care. Emergency drugs, oxygen and a defibrillator are available. All our team undergo over and above the recommended amount of postgraduate training each year so we can use the latest materials and techniques.
We have numerous car parking spaces and are on the doorstep of 2 major bus routes. We have wheelchair access and a stair lift for those that can’t manage stairs, in addition to toilet facilities for the disabled. If you have any particular needs, please let us know when you book your appointment. Home visits are available if required.
To book an appointment, please call or email our reception team of Audrey, Julie, Susie and Jeena. If you wish to see a particular dentist, we will try to accommodate your request.
Every day we have allocated spaces for emergency patients on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, so please contact us as early as possible in the morning. We attempt to see all emergency patients who ring before 11 am on the same day.
When the practice is closed, we have an emergency service based in Blackpool. Please ring the practice on 01253 826283 initially, then follow the instructions on the recorded message to access this service.
